The Miracle MOrning: Day 6

What's a morning with a few minor snafus? I fell asleep before I could schedule the hubby's birthday post for this morning, so I lingered in bed a little longer than anticipated in order to knock out my annual "What You Don't Know About Craig" post (Quarantine Edition). I was up and moving pretty quickly after that, though! The mornings are getting easier, friends. I never thought I would say that, especially after a few interrupted days of the work. Even with a minor headache (which I am attempting to kick with lots of water and smothered in Peppermint oil), I am still here, executing my new morning routine.

Silence continues to be easy to execute. It has come to my attention, however, that Hal Elrod (author of The Miracle Morning) suggests a few other strategies for kicking off your morning in case the Abide App just isn't working for you. You can begin your day in silent prayer (I love the Centering Prayer App) or just by listening to a thoughtful scripture followed by guided prayer (such as with the Pray as You Go App). Other apps, like Calm also offer free meditations and background noise. And, if meditation and prayer still aren't your jam, you can also begin the day by simply listing your gratitude. Any of the aforementioned strategies can set an appropriate tone for your day.

I did decide to change up my affirmations for the day after cracking Hal Elrod's The Miracle Morning for Real Estate Agents: It's Your TIme to Rise and Shine last night. Although real estate continues to be my side gig, I still have an ambitious annual goal of selling 12 homes this year in order to support some of my financial goals. Right now, I am only at three pending sales, which means that in the last five months of the year, we are going to have some work to do! Thus, I need to work this new role into my words of affirmations for the day. Time to sell some homes, folks! Realtor cap is on!

As I got to the visualization part of my morning, I had an interesting epiphany that I remembered from last night. In my dream, my visualizations actually took on the shape of my affirmations about my relationship with my husband. It was a crazy thing! This morning, when I read my affirmations, I could envision them as my reality so clearly, because I had just visited them last night in my sleep! I never realized how powerfully linked affirmations and visualizations are, but I have to believe that if I can see them manifesting themselves in my dreams, then the next logical place for them to travel is into my real, everyday life! This was an exciting revelation, friends. I feel like the life I want is at the touch of my fingertips, just a few short reaches away!

For exercise this morning my Fitbit was back in action and I did a quick little yoga routine focused on flexibility. It continues to be difficult working from home in 100+ degree heat. I am feeling way better than I used to after sitting for hours at the computer on end, however, so I know that, once again, something pretty magical is at work over here. Hal Elrod did his research, folks. He's no dummy, that's for sure!

Finally, to round out my routine, I read TMM for Real Estate Agents and, while my computer restarted, I got a bonus coffee before  I sat down to scribe.

Things are starting to happen here, guys. Join me in this magic, won't you?
